So, I'm here at the computer labs working. It's actually quite a pleasant job, getting paid to surf online and help the occasional computer illiterate user who is unfortunate enough to muster up the courage to ask me a question. (Which usually entails me telling them that they put the floppy disk on the wrong computer, and me trying not to berate them for still using floppys in the 21st century).
I'm trying in all my power not to work on my paper right now on the Socratic elenctic method. Sounds exciting, no? It's really not that bad, the paper only needs to be three pages long. Plus, it's one of the classes that I am taking on a Pass/No Pass option. What is the elenctic method? I'm not totally sure, which is why I have SparkNotes open on another window. Oh, how I love thee SparkNotes, for you have guided me thru the toils of English, Chemistry, and now Philosophy!
By the way, does anyone know anything about the Federal Perkins Loans? Apparently, I need two references for it, but it does not explain who the references have to be, or what they have to do. There is no mention of the references being responsible for the loan if I default. I know its a bit late to ask about loans, but the ever incompetent financial aid office manage to transfer their old database to their new database without my information, thus causing me to lose quite a considerable amount of scholarships - as I am financially independent this school year. Love that beauracracy that runs in this school. Hopefully, the aid comes soon, I have been in quite an active participant in the American consumer economy and looking at 500 dollars flashing red on my screen.
