Politics shapes your life. Are you going to shape politics?

If you don't think the the above is true, I ask you, did you go to public school? Do you drive on roads where there are speed limits and police to enforce the **rules of the road**? The air we breath, the food we eat--these are shaped by politics.

The water we drink has become a big political in many places. This is undeniable. Politics and war--these things are connected, and we all know it.

The very reason for a democracy is because politics shapes your life. The idea is that since we know that political ramifications aren't abstract, they are concrete, the people who feel those ramifications should be able to help steer the ship. Self correcting path where the people get to decide how politics should shape their life.

Even the most minimalist govt types would agree it shapes our life, and should shape our life, by keeping out invading armies who might force their politics upon ours.

So all I want to know is this: are you going to help shape politics?
