You don't because just like star wars and psi fi movies alike, they(videogames) are used to recreate magical scenes, and things you cant do in this life. so i guess they both cant teach you anything?
Then why do we watch movies? They are the same as a game, just you can't play them.....movies recreate scenes.... and how do you know a videogame cant teach you nething when u havent played as many as me, or stopped in 8th grade? You can't.
Certain videogames like medal of honor can teach you. Medal of Honor can put you right in a accurate presentation of what D-DAY was like. You werent there. This could teach, easily, in so many ways. To give you a idea of what it was like, any type of idea would help.
Not only that, It could fuel your writing skills. By EXPANDING and OPENING up your IMAGINATION, beyond the common story in a book. Or story not in a book.
Teddy, also i know you, or one of your friends...made that comment about my writing earlier, well i fixed up some grammer problems and im listened to what you said. I tracked the IP adress. I deleted it, I read it, repeat. No one else has to see it. your just mad cuz i said i was king. Hence the reason you called me cocky online.
