The third person

Standing completely alone in a busy public place has become my favorite activity. the way you view people and the world can change the way you view yourself and how you feel. i read, that really "seeing" people is different from looking at them. i always find...more so lately...that i constantly underestimate other people. they usually have more to offer than i give them credit for. sometimes they don't.
I like the way you capture the anguish and irony of life. why is it that honesty is a lost concept. fear may be the key. fear of being alone. fear of showing your true colors. i constantly battle with these evils. i can honestly say that not many people know me, or what goes on in my life.
I think watching others gives us a chance to better ourselves. you can look at the couple and see what you don't want to be. finally setting the enevitable standards. i wouldn't say achieving this is easy...its probably the hardest thing anyone will ever do. but as long as we are trying, and never complacent, we can give ourselves credit for living. isn't that what life is all about anyway? finding "the one" and really LIVING. living through love.

good entry. way to capture the shadow of annonimity, and the everyday evils of murphey's law.
