just to let you know, if someone already hasnt, bean and ender dont see each other again, as far as i know, and i just finished the series. its all explained later though, and just keep in mind, bean is constantly thinking about ender, and he *i have to give this away* is in contact with peter....

yup. Its true. but I don't think their relationship was one where they really needed to see each other. It didn't really make me sad at all. They made an impression on each other (or rather, ender made an impression on bean) and now its just a memory.

personally, i couldnt get into the ones that branch out in ender's direction (except, of course, for enders game) but i love the ones on beans side. right now im reading shadow of the giant, which is the last book, and im really going to be very depressed when i finish it..heh heh

wow. I was alot less into the Bean ones, actually. I did like learning about Beans past, but my favorite book, and the one I have read the most often, is definately Xenocide. I really like all of the discussions and the philosophy imbedded in them. I think thats why these books are so popular, because it has soemthing for everyone - like philosophy, just plain good stories, religion, etc.

I see your point, and I have to try them again, but that would be for about the 4th time. Sometimes it just takes that long. Also, I havent tried xenocide, but, started speaker for the dead, and it was just... I dunno...
