cars? cars are dumb
Especially mine. Apparently it needs something called a "transmission control module", which is like the computer for the transmission - and there are none in the state of North Carolina. They hope to have one in from Atlanta... this week? Who knows. I'm working with a rental right now because the dealership is in the process of overhauling its loaner fleet and they thus have none right now. Sigh.
But I do have the rental, which means I was able to get the butter and get my ass to baking. :)
Every year, I start with the least labor-intensive one - peppermint bark - and proceed immediately to the most labor-intensive one - chocolate teddy bears. The bears are right now cooling, and they smell so good. Fortunately, though I would like to eat all of them myself, I shall restrain myself.
Shipping will happen at some point this week. Probably later, but lucky for all of us, Christmas is at the end of next week, so I can use the weekend if I need to. :D
