Part the first: I've been having weird dreams lately. I mean, sure, running around a toy factory trying to blow it up with a Japanese boyband member (Tegoshi, for the record) is odd. Being Harry Potter and having the role of Hermione Granger played by another random boyband guy (Aiba, here; I think it was the voluminous hair...) is also quite odd.
Last night, I had what should have been a normal one - it was about football. Granted, it was Olympic [American] football (gee, wonder where the Olympic part came from...), but that's pretty normal, considering. It was the Super Bowl, which set up a very nice good-versus-evil scenario: the Packers were playing against... a combination of two teams. Okay, whatever, I can follow, because there's more than one evil team, so combining them makes sense. In the game, the play I was really excited about was when Woodson stripped Purple Jesus (Adrian Peterson) of the ball and ran it back, blocking Tony Romo in the face. Exciting, right?
I woke up confused, not excited. You can't have two (or three, for that matter) NFC teams in the same Super Bowl. Why did my subconscious not get this? It can wake me up when I'm about to die a horrible death by knife, but it can't remember the basic rules of the Super Bowl? WTF?
Part the second: My first class today was canceled, so that's a bonus. It let me get the assignment for that class done, and I should be looking at archives stuff. I'm not. :)
Part the third: Olympic hockey is awesome. Men's, that is. I somehow despise watching women's sports these days. Oh well.
Part the fourth: The fanfic that was eating my brain and raping my eyes was well-received. I somehow feel like less of a person for imitating a thirteen-year-old Malaysian girl fanfic writer, but it was also a bit liberating. In, of course, that oh-shit-what-did-i-just-do-there sense of the word...
