MLG DALLAS/DAD'S
yesterday I got back from (damn, i just rememebered i forgot to call gilbert there i think i said i would) Dallas/LA. LA is easier than spelling louisianna plus I dont know if I spelled it correctly.
On thursday (18th) my mom took britton and I to bob$'s house who lives in concord and we hung out there until 4 when zel and king showed up, even though hyuga showed up at 2, then we all got in sheridan's car (hyuga) and we drove to SFO. we got on our flight at 6:15am I think it was, and we were tired. I fell alseep while we were still ascending, then we stopped in denver until we got onto the dallas flight which we got on at 12 I think and we got there at 5 and then we met Tim(demised) from AZ who was giving us a ride to Zach's house who lives in texas. We also met up with Tope from VA whos pretty cool, and we all went back to Zach's appt. Before we could leave the airport though we got stopped (tim's car) becuase we didnt have a ticket and the guy didnt speak english so we thought we were gonna be in shit especially when the guy got out to get tim's license plate#. But then he made some calls and we paid a dollar and left. When we got to Zach's Crystal City was already there (Rob$,Caveman,Leprachaun,smiles and Zulu) who are all really good. Also AZ stayed with us for a little while after CC went to get some drinks. Everyone was pretty happy and drunk but I went to sleep early becuase I wanted to do well in pools.
I got 3rd in pools when you need to be 1st or 2nd to advance to amatuer brackets. Same story for teams. The best part about Sat. was when Isai, Eddie, snappop, omar and I went to get some food, except for the isai almost getting ran over part it was really fun talking to all of them. I also met a bunch of people that I talked to before on the Smash hub.
On sunday we left an hour before teams started and due to texas and traffic and a crazy accident we ended up not moving, and then driving zach's honda accord(iirc) over the median to the other side of the freeway and were a half hour late resulting in some people getting DQ'ed which was really sad for some people. I was pretty tired so I slept on the floor of the venue with my controller for a pillow while amatuer/pro teams was getting finished. I watched some really good matches on sunday like HugS still staying Pro or King getting 5th place. After the tournament almost everyone went to Stake'n'shake which is a diner like place and everyone had a good time. On the way back I slept in Rayzorium's camper, who also drove us there which was awesome of him.
Sunday night I stayed up for a long time because I knew I didnt have to worry about a flight or anything so I stayed up hanging out until 4 I think and then went to sleep on the couch which was really lucky becuase I had slept on the floor the 2 nights before. Then my dad picked me up from zach's apt. at 12 and we drove back to his house in shreveport, LA which is a 4 hour drive. I stayed there until friday. We didnt really do anything eventful but just talking and hanging out with him was pretty cool since I dont see him very often.
