...cause you're breakin' up the boy.

I'm beginning to loathe my job more and more. School is beginning to become quite a burden. All my friends are far away...why am I so happy? I think I should be depressed or something. We'll see how I feel in May I suppose.

What is the purpose of the tank top? Was this some life lesson that I should already know and don't? I don't quite understand. It can't really keep you warm, and yet it is worn as an undergarment. Is it for support? Did they start out being only for fat men, like a man bra? And then maybe it just caught on for everyone else? What is the appeal? I actually woulk like to know the answer. Feel free to post and let me know.

Gotta wake up tomorrow morning and driva a friend to Lawrenceville. I really don't mind, but I'm not looking forward to it. I go to bed too late to wake up at 7:30.

New Brittney Spears song - really bad
New *Nsync song - started out bad but its growing on me
New Mary J. Blige song - My anthem
I have not forsaken pop music, but its definately not very good as a whole lately. I think I'm tired of hearing Ja Rule every other song. He literaly has 5 songs out that still get somewhat regular airplay. Two of them with J-Lo, who I have yet to like consistently. Good thing my musical tastes are somewhat diverse. Although the more the rap genre melds into pop, the more I dislike it, I still have some appreciation for the pioneers that remain original. Techno is still my musical home. Its a shame that the only time I can hear any semblence of it is on club mix night. Unlike rap, the more R&B and pop come together, the more I like it. It seems to only hold for female artists though, because frankly, I'm really tired of hearing the same whiny down-tempo song that has become the standard for every male R&B artist. Still can't get very far into rock, although the occasional song will pique my interest. System of a Down is so off the beaten path, yet they're not annoyingly counter. Linkin' Park, despite the hype whether pro or con, is great because they don't take themselves so seriously that they're afraid to use synthetic instruments. Country has backed off the pop charts lately, which is good for me, cause I still hate it. I'm very happy with Garbage's comeback. Not that they ever really left, but there was a subsantial period where we heard nothing from them. Wow, this thing is way long...I guess I'll quit writing despite the potential hours of rambling. Oh, and the new Brandy song is pretty good. Feel free to post your comments...no one ever posts anything...
