It's been one week since I...drank you?
Man I miss Coca cola...so dark and enchanting with its bubbly goodness. I'm sad, I know.
I thought I was doing good at DDR, but really, I'm not. But I'm trying.
Erica and I are making spicy chicken tonight, only with less curry because I hate spicyness, should be yummy. I forgot what it was to cook a supper that didn't come from a box.
Today was my first full day doing the database and yea, it was tough. 7 hours (acutally 6 1/2 today) of typing 'certificate of gift unsigned' isn't always exciting, but I found some neat pictures. I also realized I REALLY need a better chair at that station or I'm going to have serious back issues. I could be a professional archivist after this...except I have no formal training.
However, the previous curator, who taught me all about the database turned out to be really super nice and he said he's keep an ear open for any provincial jobs and told me about a good website for museum related jobs, so I'll be keeping an eye out there. There's actually a number of curator jobs out there if you have your PhD and twenty years of experience...I'm on my way!
I've read two and a half books since I got here AND watched a season and a bit of Grey's Anatomy. I really have too much time on my hands. I think I'm going to get another job.
