I've been searching for a heart of gold ... and it's getting old.
I've been spending every day with my Uncle Walter and it's been very rewarding.
We saw a documentary about the damming of the Yangtze River on China
Scores of farmers have been forced to relocate as the water level rose over 150 feet
The central farmer said:
"The rock I was carrying has crushed my foot."
Now excuse the exaggeration but this expression seems to come true far too often. My entire farm is under water.

That said, I've been pretty pleasantly shocked with the way this year has worked.

I've found that I enjoy spending a long long time with anything, using stamina as my advantage (asthma be damned), and I'm happy as long as I'm not going off into the deep end
My summer class of choice is an entire course on the writing of Ernest Hemingway
Let's hope the Ryerson English Department gives it the thumbs up.
Unfortunately, I will not be able to take Geography of Surfing for credit.

Coming to Toronto this atmosphere is what I expected unconsciously
Walking anywhere here is a breath of familiar air
I'm back in the U.S. of A., this is the place I always like believed in
I'm either coming back to Toronto one day early or cramming it all together and cutting it real close
