We have a new next door neighbour. We share a main wooden wall and some floorboards.
This is normal for terraced houses, especially wooden ones. I am conscious of banging noises against the wall, making too much noise late in the evening, I'm a nice neighbour.
My head is reverbrating, pound, pound, pound! Our new neighbour has her pride and joy placed right in front of her beautiful french doors, right on the bounciest floorboards.
Once a day she takes her little beauty for a ride! The Goddam tread machine, treadmill, whatever the crap that thing is called. Apart from my own personal misgivings about treadmills (I'm paranoid about falling), if it's a lovely day, why not go and run outside, embrace the fresh air, enjoy the various flower scents, but no she must pound, pound and pound, reverbrating through our side of the building as well as my head.
Should I say something should I get into a battle and find some noisy aggravating habit to compete, should I just ignore it. Pounding techno does come to mind...
Give me strength, Please!
