a conversation with my hubs regarding my inability to muster up any type of maternal instinct when i see babies:
me: i think there's something wrong with me, like on a DNA level. i'm convinced. there's something wrong like there's something wrong with kids who torture small animals and then grow up to be serial killers.
him: are you trying to say that you want me to help you find, collect and torture children? if so, yes yes yes! .... but let me ask you this, what do you know about melons?
