The following is a crazy Cliff rambling on Christianity, Absolute Truth, constructed moralities, and hard questions with presented with what is surely only a mere semblance of twisted logic. It is likely rife with poor grammar and unclear thoughts, but hell, this is my personal journal, I shall allow such. I don't expect really anyone to read it

One of my professors told us an african story- there were two villages, one on each side of a road. One day God put on a hat that was blue on one side and red on the other. He walked down the road and everyone watched. When he was out of sight, he turned the hat backwards and walked down the road again. So one village only saw the red side, and the other only saw the blue side. When the villiages met together to discuss God's choice of hatwear, they couldn't agree on what color it was, and so they were like WAAAAR and then God came down and made fun of everyone for being so gullible (well... maybe i just added that part)
the song One Tin Soldier also comes to mind. "...And they killed the mountain people, so they won their just reward. Now they stood beside the treasure, on the mountain, dark and red- turned the stone and looked beneath it: "PEACE ON EARTH," was all it said.
I've found that passivity is the terribly effective... oddly enough.

If you think I'm judging you for being a hippy, you have forgotten who I am.
Seriously, I've really hugged a tree. And I liked it.

As opposed to the ramblings of the general population: "Blah blah blah, OH MY GOD I CANT BELIEVE HE/SHE DID/SAID THAT, I'M SO MAD/ANGRY/PISSED/HORNY, JUDGE EVERYONE, TAKE SIDES, RAPE AND PILLAGE, DRINK TO FORGET, BOO FUCKING HOO. Oh guess what I saw on TV today!"
