FACT Christmas Party
I attended the FACT Christmas Party yesterday evening. I ended the evening with a large bag of chocolate items, most of which I gave away to three people (didn't try to trade); I did keep the fudge (not yet eaten), two natural chocolate bars with cranberries and almonds (not yet eaten), and two laser engraved wooden bookmarks with cool sayings ("A world without books is like a body without a soul" and "A world without chocolate is filled with darkness and chaos"). There were so many chocolate oriented gifts, it was recommended that there should be no gifts with chocolate at next years party. I'd really hoped I could have gotten the Harry Potter DVD since I haven't seen the movie yet; I didn't get around to seeing this year - but I am thinking about seeing Avatar, which opens Friday. I set up a reminder for early next November to look for geeky oriented items for next year's party.
