I keep thinking I SHOULD REALLY POST I HAVE TO STUFF TO POST ABOUT and then I... don't, because I'm lazy and I'm STILL WORKING ON MY THESIS ;-; and my brain is just a lot of pink mush by now.
I mean, brains are generally pink mushy things, but reallyreally mush. Maybe it's already starting to rot. Yum.
BUT taking a break from trying to apply orientalism to fandom and make it sound as smart as my advisor does (and also from... less productive things >_>;;) to ~cling to you guys. ♥♥♥
So in my livejournal absence I ~WAS IN PARIS FOR A WEEK (told you I had things to post about *-*) with the ever fantastic buzzbird and siren-no-oto. ♥ Lin wrote a post about what we did so I will link it because I'm a lazy ass :Dv and it's relevant enough. 8]
Also I went to a Dutch musical (Mary Poppins) and it was sparkly and fun and I did other fun stuff that I might remember after I pressed the 'post' button :Dv A week in Paris was undoubtedly the biggest thing though, lol.
IN FANDOM NEWS, FALLING FURTHER FOR KANJANI8 LIKE A BRICK LINED WITH LEAD.
I know enough Japanese now to watch their shows (WATCHING ALL THEIR SHOWS. LIKE A BOSS uh, what thesis.. >>) and understand what's going on well enough. AND GUH. THEY ARE SO GREAT I HAVE NO WORDS GUYS. I WANT TO WATCH K8 TROLL AROUND FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE AND I'LL BE PERFECTLY HAPPY. ;_;♥
I bought their 365nichi kazoku single (and squeed about it like crazy IT IS SO CUTE IS HAS FINGERPAINT HANDS) and a few days ago there was some kind of sale thing going on at yesasia (it might still do, idek) and I ordered the 8UPPERS concert DVD and the 8UPPERS album with ~THE MOVIE~, because that concert was one of the best I've ever seen (downloaded, not like I was there or anything >> uh, I just now noticed that that's what I talked about in my LAST POST /fail) and you know, it's 8UPPERS :')
Ryo is my faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaavorite *o*♥♥♥ I have ~feelings~ for Hina that IDEKW but I kind of want to marry him, and also ~kizuna~ with Ohkura because he's this whiny little brat that loves ~food~(♥) and sleep so he's basically the hot, gorgeous, talented, asian, male, idol, awesome version of me. yes. and Yoko is just made of faily awesome and will surely take over the world one day and- JUST EVERYBODY IS REALLY REALLY AWESOME
I kind of want to write short/experimental/IDE KNOW WHAT I'M DOING K8 fic. BECAUSE IT'S NOT LIKE I HAVE EXCHANGES TO WRITE FOR... Maybe I should open drabble requests or something *_* /has no inspiration
er, 4 paragraphs of K8 loverant is probably enough. This is why I should post more often, I think >___>;; MOVING ON TO THE NEXT GROUP.
what with impending debut and Fujigaya always being relevant, I feel I should learn more about Kisumai. I CAN PRETTY MUCH NAME THEM ALL NOW. :D? and also realised some are still painfully young but for the rest I'm ~completely ignorant~ and I don't really know where to start. I thought about watching the comm but it didn't look very relevant unless you're into fic? idek? If someone could point me towards things or something that'd be really awesome *____*;;;
