Yay for voting!
Yay for cool bosses! So my boss Jaimy let me go from work early to get downtown to get my mail-in ballot AGAIN and vote! It turns out she wants me to come into work a whole hour early (with transit time) on Monday as it is due to having a training down at Main, so it really just evens out in the end.
I still had to wait an hour and a half to vote, but it was worth it. It would have annoyed the crap out of me if I hadn't voted this year. SERIOUSLY.
On that same note, Obama is coming to do a speech in Pueblo, and while I don't usually take the time to go to those kinds of things, a friend of mine invited me to come along with her to see it, so I thought: What the hey? I don't have any pressing plans on Saturday. Why not? Could be interesting and might make for a fun story.
Don't worry Leah. I promise I won't come back a muslim-unibomber-sexpot-crack addict-atheist-commie. :-D Sorry. Just had to say that. We live on very different sides of the political fence, and I'm perfectly fine with that. To each his own.
