It's like friggin WWII around here...
So I've been moving out. My new apartment is awesome!!! :-D I'll have to take pictures so you guys can see it. I have a new red suede couch! I love it so much!
I'm moving out none too soon... They use these apartments for various people during the summer, not just college students. Right now, living within my apartment building are soldiers that have returned from the Iraq war (or according to what Steven heard on the news that's what they are), AND the German Olympic team. Colorado Springs houses some sort of training facility for the Olympics you see, and so a few weeks ago, one of the German Olympic teams showed up. I don't know what sport. Most of them are kind of short and VERY buff. Could be wrestling or something...
Anyway, so this morning I was moving my crap down to my car, and I get on the elevator with three bags of stuff. I start to go down, but the elevator stops at the 4th floor. At which point seven German Olympic athletes get on. They are all being loud and speaking in German, and taking forever to get on, and of course, once they all do get on, the alarm in the elevator goes off, presumably (in my opinion) because there's too much weight on the elevator, probably due to all the friggin muscle weight these guys are carrying with them... And they all look at ME like I was the one who made the damn thing go off!!!
So... Between the soldiers and the Germans, I probably picked a good time to move out.
