It started with a red-headed slut and ended at the courthouse...
I really had a very lovely birthday yesterday. Thank you to all who attended. And yes, I do remember my twenty-first birthday. :-p But then, going and getting trashed is just not my style, even on my twenty-first birthday.
Thank you to Chris, Meryl, and Shaina for taking me to Liquid Lounge for Acoustic Chaos on Wednesday night. That was fun. :-) It's funny that I had the same birthday as the lead singer of Generic. Oh, and thanks for the Red-Headed Slut at midnight Meryl. Somehow it does not surprise me that you two were there for my first legal drink. You two are corrupting influences. :-p
Thank you to Nathan and Neil who showed up for my birthday at the Magic Time Machine. You two are some of the few who didn't bail on me that same day. I'm sorry dinner was kind of weird. I have lots of different groups of friends, and I wasn't planning on that many people to bail on me, so I thought that we'd have enough people that we wouldn't get a weird grouping of people. It was fun even so, and watching you guys torment the waiter (and vice versa) was rather entertaining. :-p
Between getting the slut at Liquid Lounge, the Mudslide with Medco at lunch, the Love Potion #9 at dinner, and the coffee based products at Jupiter house with all of the people who couldn't attend the Magic Time Machine, I realized how much I'm going to miss all of you when (and if) I go away for grad school next year.
It's funny too, because when I walked into Jupiter House last night, it was like a random gallery of people from my past two birthdays... First I ran into Nathan (of Canadian James and Nathan), whom I hadn't seen in ages, and who actually attended my 19th birthday, and played a huge game of cards and went on a slurpee run with me. Then, we walked up the counter, and who should I run into, but Zack, whom I also haven't seen in a long while, and who attended my 20th birthday, though he couldn't remember it. :-p I'm not older than you!!! :-p I know it's easy to assume that because I am so mature acting though. :-p Of all the random people whom I hadn't seen in awhile I run into two of the ones whom I have birthday memories with. I thought that was funny. Oh, and btw Zack, thanks for calling me afterwards and telling me that there was a Scientist ready, even though it wasn't mine. You and I will definently have to hang out some time soon.
In any case, after buying our coffee based products we all went and hung out around the courthouse, hence the fact that I started off my birthday with a red-headed slut and ended it at the courthouse. :-p I saw and talked to SOOOOO many people yesterday, and I really do thank all of you who bought me gifts and/or wished me a happy birthday and/or came out to eat with us. It was a good birthday, and I really hope that all of you had a good time too. :-)
For those of you who didn't get to go... *cough*Gina*cough* Don't worry about it. I fully realize it was not your fault that some complications arose. We'll definently do something together soon. :-)
At this time next year, if all goes as planned, I won't be able to have my 22nd birthday with you guys... I'll be in Colorado. So, I'm glad that I got to have an awesome birthday this year with everyone. :-D :-D :-D
