Wow, i've been busy lol!
Let's see, in a nutshell: I had some REALLY old friends find me via facebook, so I was drawn into the web of lies and deceit there lol! It has been really interesting seeing all of these old faces!!! I also set up a new sewing room, and John and I reorganized the front room, moving all the computers. So, since my computer is kinda oddly positioned now, I am only ever on my laptop. Wondering where I'm going with these two lines of thought?
Well, since I am only on my laptop, the only pics I have are ones of me dancing, and I have access to my troupe's pictures. So, I put up the few shots of my kiddos that were on my phone, and then put up a bunch of dance pictures. All my pictures of John are on my big computer with al my good pictures. So I post these shots, and there is one guy in 3 of them (the honorary guy member of my dance troupe). I'm never standing next to him or anything, and he's never in any shots with just me. All of the scenes with him are GROUP shots of 5 or 6 ladies, and him.
Well, one of my friends who found me over facebook has a sister that I also used to be friends with in Fillmore. She apparently goes and peruses my profile (no big deal, yeah?)....then sends JOHN an email asking if we were still married! She says that all my pictures have this other man in them, and she didn't see him, so she wondered if we were still married?
Now, John is an amazingly un-jealous guy. He has spent the last 4 years completely okay with me gallavanting off to shows and faires and performances where he KNEW that guys were ogling me (can't get away from that at a ren faire). This put him over the edge. he actually got mad. We even got in a bit of a tiff. He finally just said "Yeah, it bugged me that she thinks we're not together anymore because of these pictures of other guys." I told him that it was ONE guy (and he knows the guy and knows that this is NOT a threat-guy), and that he ws only in a few of the pictures, and he's not even standing next to me in any of them.
What is wrong with people? a) why didn't she email ME? instead of having to SEARCH for John's email address and send that message to him? b) why is it now illegal to have one guy in a picture with you? c) seriously, woman, are you TRYING to make problems???
I am so mad at her. I spend my entire life trying to smooth over edges, make things good with everyone around me, and taking care that people know I'm married and happy. With one email this chick makes my husband all of a sudden nervous about my doing ren faires and festivals. Stupid witch.
We got it all worked out....our fights usually aren't even full fledged fights, but disagreements. This one was over that same evening, after a few comprimises and concessions on both ends, but it still SUCKED.
Kiddos started school again, which I'm so happy about! They're getting more knowledge and I get a break (kind lol). I went into LA this morning to the fabric district. It was SO NICE not to have to wrangle kiddos there. It's just no fun for them. Very boring indeed, and it was 102*!!!! So I was sweating up a storm, wandering around touching fabric for 3 hours lol.
Now I'm sitting outside (it's not 102 anymore) and waiting for my kiddos to get out of karate. Weeeee!
