Xmess went better than expected. I managed to spend it with James and then went to exchange gifts with my family on the 27th.

Also, stuff from Lush! I've only vaguely heard of them before, and I was looking at their website recently. I don't think I can afford *anything* they sell on a regular basis, though. Yikes. I'd *love* to get some stuff from there as a gift--or even better, a gift certificate.

Also, what are hairsticks? I've never heard of them. *g8

Those are VegeBear's Frooty Fruits on top of the cupcakes. So yes, jelly candies.

My parents get me a gift box from Lush pretty much every Christmas. It's something to look forward to.

Hairsticks are, erm, sticks you put in your hair. They look kind of like chopsticks, but usually prettier. You twist your hair into a bun, insert a hairstick and it holds it in place.
