Delays and more delays.
Escrow was suppose to close on the house last week Wednesday. On Tuesday a lein was put on the house. First time in 24 years experience my agent said, that one had been placed so late in the process. Cancelled the contractors and blew up everbodies schedule including ours. It is resolved now and we are suppose to close this afternoon or tomorrow by noon. Phew!
Called everybody back today.
Floor guy, Tony, coming tomorrow, 7/1, at 1p to evaluate floors and discuss options.
Painter, Steve, starting Thursday, 7/2, at 8am. Finish Tuesday, 7/6.
Bathroom/ Repiping, Carlos, starting Friday, 7/3. Anticipate finish ?
Aniticipate floor start on Wednesday, 7/8.
Move in day Saturday 7/11 !!!
For those of you that volunteered to help in the past to help with the move, we are requesting that you post again if you are available for the new move date. We understand we have jumbled your schedules as well and some of you are no longer available. Some of you that were not available for the 4th weekened might be available for the 11th weekend. We are sending out a request to our friends and community to assist and support us through this transition. The more bodies to move boxes and furniture the faster it will go and the bigger after the party to be enjoyed. Come help us and celebrate a new beginning in our new home. We want you!
