Ramblings!
Hey everyone! Been a while! I should be doing my Biology homework right now, but fuck it, I'll do it when I'm done updating! lol So Dan is gone, and its very sad because I can tell that Alex misses him a lot and it's only been a week and a half so far. Only what? 13 1/2 weeks to go?! It shouldn't be too bad, especially since it's summer and it's been decent outside so we spend a lot of the day outside! He just loves playing outside.
I've been keeping busy too. My friend Sarah and I have been going out and attempting to run every other day and then later in the day we go on a 3 mile walk, then on the days we don't run we go on TWO walks. It's been good, I think it'll help me to not get too depressed with Dan gone and all. I think Alex gets bored towards the end of the walks because he starts babbling on and on and laughing at himself! lol I've been trying to eat a lot better, too, which is going well so far, so if I can keep this up I should be lookin' sexy by the time Dan gets back! lol Well he already thinks I am so I guess I'll be FEELIN' sexy! I can already see my body changing a bit so it's nice! Plus I feel like a million times better since I'm doing something besides sitting on the couch all day, well except today I didn't, I was sooooo tired today!! I dunno why!
Hmm sorry if you're one of the people I haven't called in forever, I keep going to bed really early because Alex gets up at around 7 now, so I go to bed at about 10:30 every night, doesn't give me any time to call anyone!
We got invited to a birthday party for a little boy who's turning 1. Its on Saturday and it should be pretty fun! I'm only worried about Alex hoarding all the toys and claiming them for his own and then freaking out if anyone tries to take them away. Yeah, he is not a sharer yet! He doesn't get it and I swear he just thinks people are being mean to him on purpose if they try to play with what he's playing with!
Right now he knows like 5 or 6 words. I think his favorite one is 'YEAH!', which he says whenever he does something he's proud of himself for, or whenever I do something he thinks was cool, or when I'm done singing him a song he claps and shouts 'YEAH!'. He also says 'kitty', 'ball', 'cookie', 'na-na' (which is nite-nite), and hmm not much else yet! lol I think he's going to start saying a lot more now, though, because he JUST started saying ball and cookie this week, so hopefully this is the start of a whole flow of words! OH yeah! Also, whenever he sees letters or we watch Wheel of Fortune he says 'tee' which I guess is every letter to him. He puts the letter magnets up on the fridge and says 'TEE!'! Oh and he throws fits about a hundred freakin' times a day, and its almost always about how he can't have the phone! Its insane he just really really really wants the one phone in the house that he can't have, and he has like 7 phones that are his to play with!
Anyway I really have to get my biology stuff done! Hope everyone is doing reasonably well!
