Today is the day before Thanksgiving. Yay. I can't wait for all that good food. =) Last night I shampooed the living room carpet (In prep for Christmas). It looks soooo much better now. It is the greatest feeling of relief. The results of our amnio came back and our baby is healthy. The alpha-fetoprotein test (a marker for down syndrome) was a false positive. Ah, it feels like I can breathe again. Thanks to the Gods.  They must have heard my histerical begging and spared us this heartache.

Yesturday was fun. My Mom's boss over at Walmart (who is only a couple years older than me, was there for Lexi's birth and was my maid of honor) is also pregnant and due in March. She called to tell us that her ultrasound yesturday revealed a little boy. Aww. Mom and I went out shopping after that and bought some cute boy stuff at Bealls to give ( Read more... )
