First is "Harlem" which naturally leads to the Harlem Globe Trotters and the Harlem Renaissance. Next I get "Harley" which can only mean Harley Quinn ;) After that we fall into the trap of 16th Century poets, which can only lead to headaches, haha.
This is exactly what I wanted. My boyfriend Joey wanted to name her Harley Quinn :] but even though I love the name (and character), I don't think she's "goofy and jokerish" enough to name her that.
We're settling on Harlow after Jean Harlow. She's had a tragic life and she's a bit of a hussie ;] with cuddles, so I think it's fitting. Jean also died early from renal failure like my father so it's also an homage to my papa, as well.
Thanks for your input. I like your way of thinking.
Aha! I knew I'd at least heard the name somewhere, but I couldn't place it. By golly, it was Jean Harlow. Great actress too, by the way ;)
And I think I seriously missed the boat on this whole Nicole Richie thing (I peeked at the comment below). Who knew she had a baby at all!? Much less that it was named Harlow, haha.
