just got my violette market perfume oils...
And man am I disappointed. This is why decant circles exist. Let me say first that Feathertop from her Hawthorne and Irving line is my absolute favorite out of the 300+ perfumes from various companies. Leaf gathering smells nothing like leaves, amber or vanilla. It smells like that nasty cinnamon/orange tea that I hate..
Why??! Milkweed doesn't smell like hay or sweetgrass...and I know she knows hay because its a prominent note in Feathertop. Good grief...$24 wasted...sad panda. The benzoin one is ok

I have several oils from vm that I adore and I thought, based on the simplicity and the notes listed, that these would be perfect...not even close
