Summary: Harry and Draco choose a photographer.
Harry wandered through Ashcroft Gallery, hand in hand with his fiance. This was only the second photography studio they had visited today, but Harry could tell this would be the one they hired as their official wedding photographer.
Draco's eyes were wide in breathless wonder as he wandered from one photograph on display to another. Even Harry, who had no eye for anything remotely artistic, was impressed with this person's talent. Not only had she taken the requisite posed portraits of brides and grooms, children, families and pets, but she had also captured the same subjects in unguarded moments. It was these photos that most captivated Harry. One display had a posed, formal portrait of a young woman and her new baby. A second photo, mounted next to it, was of the same woman smiling down at her infant, and the love shining in her eyes brought a lump to Harry's throat. He almost expected the woman to glance up at him.
In another photo, four boys--brothers from the looks of them--posed stiffly. In its companion photo, the boys had degenerated into good-natured pushing and shoving. Harry wondered if he would be able to hear them bickering and laughing if he leaned near enough.
As Harry was turning to admire another series of framed photographs, he noticed Harmony Ashcroft herself standing a few paces away, watching them. When she realized she had Harry's attention, she strode forward and shook his hand with a confident smile fixed on her face. "Mr Potter," she greeted. "Mr Malfoy," she added, shaking Draco's hand when he stepped up to stand at Harry's side. "I am honored that you are considering me as the photographer for your upcoming wedding," she told them.
Draco's attention had wandered back to the photos on display, and Harry smiled and gave a slight shake of his head. "I daresay you're hired," he said.
"Excellent," Harmony beamed. "If you'll follow me to my office, we can go over the various packages and discuss the details."
Harry and Draco fell into step behind her. As they exited the gallery, Draco whispered, "I want to bring Amber here for a photo shoot."
