Summary: Draco and Harry sneak out of their own party.
"Twenty-five years," Draco mused, eyes on the crowd milling about the Manor's ballroom.
"Who would have thought we'd remain married this long?" Harry laughed, giving his husband's hand a squeeze.
"Who would have thought I'd still be bloody gorgeous at the age of forty-five?" smirked Draco.
"I did," Harry stated firmly.
"You did?"
Harry nodded. "It's the only reason I married you."
"You married me for my looks?" Draco asked him.
"Yes."
"What about my sparkling intelligence?" Draco prodded.
"I can get that from Hermione," replied Harry.
"My effervescent humor?"
"George."
"Well, what about my talent for cooking?" tried Draco.
Harry shrugged. "Mrs Weasley."
"So, what you're saying is I'm merely a trophy husband," Draco sighed.
"That's correct," Harry affirmed. "Especially considering how hard I had to fight to win you."
"I'm worth it, though," Draco responded smugly.
"That you are," Harry admitted. He gazed out over the crowd of family and friends who had gathered to celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary. No one seemed to be paying attention to them at the moment. "Let's sneak upstairs and celebrate in private," he whispered.
"Are you suggesting we abandon our own party to shag?!" Draco asked in feigned shock. Harry grinned and nodded. "Splendid," Draco chuckled. "Lead on, Mr Potter-Malfoy."
Harry and Draco made their stealthy way to the staircase, and if any of their guests happened to witness their furtive escape, they simply smiled and shook their heads at the typical Potter-Malfoy behavior.
