Summary: Draco receives his final gift from Potter.
Kellie was watering her potted ivy plant when Draco arrived at his office the next morning. Knowing her, she had come in early to make up for missing the previous day's work. "Good morning, Mr Malfoy," she said cheerfully.
Draco responded in kind, thinking that it was indeed a good morning. He was on tenterhooks, wondering what sort of gift would be the final one from Potter. Each present had gotten progressively more suggestive, and Draco had a difficult time believing that it was completely ingenuous on Potter's part. Taking a seat behind his desk, he grabbed a file and tried to concentrate.

It was late morning before a Ministry clerk delivered Draco's gift, stating that he had been charged with the task since Auror Potter was out in the field. Stifling a sigh of disappointment, Draco opened the package with trembling fingers. When the gift was revealed to be nothing but a plain office paper clip, Draco frowned in confusion. And then he saw the note. Unfolding it, he read:
Malfoy, the paper clip is a portkey, charmed to activate at 10:00 this evening. It will deliver you to my flat, should you choose to use it. In case you hadn't guessed by the gifts I've been giving you, I rather fancy you and would like to spend the weekend exploring the possibilities, shall we say? If you do decide to show up, feel free to bring along the gifts I gave you earlier so we can use them to their full advantage.
Should you not wish to pursue a dalliance with me, I will understand, and I promise there will be no hard feelings. Let me restate that--undoubtedly, there will be hard feelings, but I won't begrudge you your decision.
Until this evening (I hope),
~ H Potter
