We're overdue for a new Monthly Drabble Challenge, so without further ado...
The prompt for this month is one of my favorite movie quotes: "It can't rain all the time." The quote is from "The Crow", and it seemed appropriate, considering all the rain I've been getting lately! I don't mind which character says it, either. Feel free to combine this with other community prompts if you wish.
Please post your entry in your own journal, or a community of your choice, and leave me a link in comments below. Longer fics and artwork are certainly welcome. You have until Sunday, April 27, at 11:00pm CST to submit an entry. At that time, I'll post links to the responses and draw a name from among those participating to receive a drabble from me. Below is my own entry:

Author's note: My entry to April's Monthly Drabble Challenge, with the prompt of "It can't rain all the time." Also written for Prompt #37 at

Summary: While on holiday, Harry is bummed that it has rained nonstop. Draco, however, has a suggestion.
Harry gazed out at the rain drumming off the wrought iron table and sighed forlornly. Arms wrapped around him from behind, and a warm pair of lips nibbled gently on his nape.
"I was really looking forward to having breakfast out on the patio at some point this weekend," murmured Harry, leaning back into his lover's embrace.
"It can't rain all the time," husked Draco.
"It's been raining ever since we got here," Harry pointed out glumly.
"Rainy days are good for something."
"What's that?" Harry asked, turning in Draco's arms to grin at him impishly.
"We could spend the day in bed," suggested Draco, lowering his head now to trail kisses across Harry's throat.
"I'm...I'm not tired."
"No worries," promised Draco, reaching down to squeeze his boyfriend's bum. "I'll wear you out."
