Summary: The war has just ended, and Harry goes looking for his boyfriend.

Harry lowered his wand and allowed his shoulders to droop, releasing a year's worth of tension. The Dark Lord lay dead at his feet, and Hogwarts' Great Hall was in a shambles around him. The air, however, crackled with excitement and jubilation. There was almost an Easter energy about it, a sense of arrival and renewal rather than wreckage and destruction.

Harry took a deep breath and exhaled on a mighty sigh. Looking about, he saw the celebration beginning. People were clapping, laughing, weeping and hugging. Scanning the room for his beloved, Harry's eyes passed over the Weasley clan and came to rest on the trio of Malfoys, who were clinging to one another, seemingly oblivious to the activity around them.

Making his way through the throng of well-wishers and congratulatory handshakes and pats on the back, Harry finally found himself standing before the Malfoys. They looked up at his approach, and Harry glanced nervously at Lucius and Narcissa before turning his attention to Draco. "I have something of yours," he said, hoping his eyes conveyed what his words could not, and that Draco would take his cue to walk with Harry. He was startled when Lucius spoke first.

"What you have is our gratitude," the elder Malfoy said gruffly, reaching to give Harry's shoulder a brief squeeze.

Narcissa swept him up in a quick hug, making Harry tense up all over again. "Thank you," she whispered in his ear.

"You...you're welcome," Harry stammered, overwhelmed by the sudden show of support from Draco's parents. Turning to his boyfriend, the one whom he'd not been able to acknowledge throughout this past year, he said, "I do have something that belongs to you," and he reached for the wand in his pocket.

Draco chose that moment to fling his arms around Harry and proclaim, "Yes, you do have something of mine--you have my heart."
