October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month
I have a history of breast cancer in my family, so this cause is close to my heart, both literally and figuratively. My maternal grandmother died from breast cancer when my mother was pregnant with me. Because of this disease, I never got to meet a woman that people say I have much in common with.
