Summary: The cake was worth it.
Of course, Harry would want a slice of cake right now. Draco heaved himself upright again and waited until he was walking away from his husband before he scowled and rolled his eyes. He then mentally chastised himself. Harry had just gone through quite the ordeal to bring their son into the world; the least Draco could do was feed him some chocolate cake.
Draco waddled into the kitchen, absently rubbing his own distended stomach. He sliced the cake, plated two pieces, and returned to the lounge. By then, Harry had settled baby Sirius on the sofa next to him. He'd mounded pillows on the edge as a protective barrier. Draco refrained from pointing out that a newborn was unlikely to roll over yet.
"Your cake," he announced, handing Harry one of the plates with a flourish.
Harry inhaled and smiled. "Mm, this smells delicious." He picked up the fork and took a bite. "Mm," he repeated, eyes fluttering with pleasure.
Draco's cock had the nerve to twitch, somewhere below his enlarged belly. He ignored it in favor of sitting down and taking his own bite of cake. "Mm."
Harry took another bite and licked his fork. "Mm, this makes having a baby worth it."
Draco had a drink of milk before responding. "Isn't the baby your reward for having a baby?"
"Of course," said Harry, "but the cake isn't going to wake me up in the middle of night, soil its nappy, or spit up on me."
