"Sit down. You're making me dizzy."
Harry grimaced and perched next to Draco on the edge of the uncomfortable sofa in the waiting room. He swiped at the beads of sweat dotting his upper lip. "What if something's gone wrong?"
Draco smiled and lightly socked Harry's shoulder. "Women have babies every day," he said. "This isn't Luna's first time. She'll be fine."
It was early evening when Neville had sent his Patronus to alert Harry and Draco that Luna was in labor and they were going to St Mungo's. Narcissa, who'd been on standby, arrived immediately to take care of the older children while Harry and Draco hied themselves to St Mungo's to be there for the birth of the twins that Luna was carrying for them, via surrogacy.
"I wish we were in there," muttered Harry. He stood and began to pace again.
"Neville said we'd be summoned when it's time," Draco reminded him. "It's early in the process yet, and Luna doesn't need three blokes in there, fussing over her.."
Harry knew all this, but it did little to ease his mind. He seized on something else to fret about. "Who's caring for Ellie and Levi?" he blurted, suddenly worried about Neville and Luna's children.
"Susan and Hannah."
"Right, okay, right," Harry nodded. Everyone had been planning for this event for weeks. All that was left now was for Luna to deliver the babies.
Babies
"Draco, we don't know the first thing about babies!" Harry cried, wringing his hands.
"Neither did our own parents at first," Draco said calmly. "Jasmin may not have been an infant when we adopted her, but she was only six months old," he added. "We learned as we went along with her, and we will with the twins."
Harry nodded. "Yeah, okay, yeah."
"Sit down. You're making me dizzy."

Harry's face ached from smiling, but he couldn't help himself. He stared down in awe at his tiny daughter and smoothed his fingers over her fine hair. She was going to be a ginger; he could tell by the russet tint to her baby fuzz. Beside him, Draco was marveling over their son. He had a cap of dark hair. A Potter, through and through.
When Harry and Draco went through the surrogacy process with Luna, each of them had made a contribution. They swore they didn't care which of them ended up being the father of their baby, as both of them would be its daddy. Now that they were faced with not one but two babies who were most likely his, Harry could only trust that Draco wasn't secretly disappointed. As for himself, he had hoped that Draco would be the father. The thought of a tiny, towheaded boy or girl delighted him.
Across the room, Luna was dozing while Neville sat and held her hand. Harry caught his eye and smiled.
"Thank you, Neville."
"You've said that four times already, mate."
"It does bear repeating," said Draco. "Thank you."
Neville ducked his head. "It's Luna who deserves the praise."
"You agreed to it," Harry reminded him. "We truly cannot thank you enough."

When Harry and Draco brought the babies home, the rest of the family crowded around to meet them: Narcissa, Carolyn, Benjamin, Jasmin, one dog, three felines, and a grumpy old house-elf.
Harry cleared his throat for attention. "May I present Jameson Lucius Neville Potter-Malfoy and Lilian Luna Narcissa Potter-Malfoy."
Narcissa made a tiny gasp and sat on the sofa in the family room. She held out her arms expectantly. Draco immediately handed Lili to her.
"I want to hold the other baby!" cried Carolyn, perching next to Narcissa.
"I do, too," said Ben.
"Me, too," echoed Jasmin.
"You'll need to take turns," Harry admonished the older children. He carefully settled Jamie into Carolyn's arms.
"You have a brother now, Ben," said Harry. "Isn't that exciting?"
"Yeah," Ben enthused, hopping up to sit beside Carolyn and gently touch Jamie's head.
"Lilian looks just like you, Draco," murmured Narcissa, gazing at her with adoration in her eyes.
Harry and Draco exchanged a puzzled glance.
"She has your sharp, determined little chin," Narcissa said without looking up.
Harry's heart leapt with joy. He leaned down to peer at his daughter more closely. He looked back up at Draco. "She's right," said Harry. "I reckon if we compared your first photo to Lili, it would appear the two of you were twins."
"But...she's a ginger," Draco protested faintly.
"Luna's mother had red hair," said Narcissa. She finally raised her head to meet Draco's gaze. "So did Marie-Louise."
"She did?" Draco asked. "I only remember her with pure white hair."
Harry had only seen Draco's great-grandmother with white hair, too. She was one of the few members of the Malfoy family who had welcomed him with open arms and he missed her.
Narcissa turned her attention to Jamie. "He's obviously yours, Harry. There has never been a dark-haired Malfoy or Lovegood. I imagine he'll be quite the little imp."
"As far as we're concerned, both babies are both of ours," said Harry, "but I confess I'm delighted that Lili will take after you, Draco."
"It really is quite extraordinary," said Narcissa. "Each of you being the...what is the term? The biological father of one twin." She blinked, and a small furrow appeared between her brows. "How is that even possible?"
Harry took the coward's way out. "Magic," he blurted.
