"I see you've made progress in your efforts to woo Potter," said Peony.
Scorpius blinked and focused on his friend. "Sorry?"
"You're grinning like a simpleton," she said. "I reckon that means you have a date for Hogsmeade?"
"It's not a date," Scorpius hedged. "What about you?" he asked in an attempt at deflection.
"I don't have a date with Potter."
"I meant with Weasley, you rude cow."
It was Peony's turn to smile. "He asked me to go to Hogsmeade with him, and I accepted."
