Hiking in the Catskills was meant to be fun and relaxing. Instead, it turned into an adventure fraught with danger when an unexpected storm rolled in.
Dee and Ryo took shelter beneath an overhang, which protected them from the wind and the worst of the rain. They still got wet, but at least they weren't drenched.
Once the storm passed, they emerged and resumed their hike, being mindful of the slippery conditions on the trail. They crested a hill and halted.
"Look," said Dee. "A rainbow."
Ryo paused to admire the spectacle. "There should be a rainbow after every storm."
