Harry selected a tie to wear to dinner, only to turn and see that Draco was knotting an almost exact match around his collar. Their eyes met, and they shared a smile.
"We should be inviting Luna and Neville to dinner, not the other way around," Harry remarked as he looped his tie around his neck.
"They insisted," Draco said, lifting one shoulder in a shrug. "I hope they enjoy our gift."
Harry grinned. When he'd asked Neville what they could bring, Nev had suggested they bring Draco's chocolate fountain, as Luna enjoyed it so. Harry had done one better and went to Muggle London to buy Luna her own chocolate fountain.
"They'll love it," said Harry. "At least Luna will."

Dinner was simple shepherd's pie, but it was the company that made it special.
"How are you feeling, Luna?" Draco asked solicitously. She was carrying his and Harry's child, after all.
"Fantastic," she replied before lifting another bite of mash to her lips.
"All she's needed is some of your anti-nausea potion now and again," said Neville.
"How about you, mate?" asked Harry.
"It's fine, Harry, truly," Neville insisted. "Luna and I are excited to go on this journey with you. Speaking of excitement, we do have some news to share."
Harry saw Draco's head snap up, but he beat his husband to the question. "Have you learned if we're having a boy or a girl?"
"I'm not certain I'm ready to spoil that surprise," said Draco.
Luna set her fork down and beamed at them. "I can't tell you if I'm having a boy or a girl, but I can tell you I'm having twins."
Draco's mouth fell open, and Harry's fork clattered onto the floor.
"Twins?!" Harry all but squeaked. "I...but...are you sure?"
"St Mungo's confirmed it just yesterday," said Neville. "Surprise!"
"This is...it's astounding!" Harry enthused. He glanced at his husband. "Draco? You look like you've swallowed a flobberworm."
"Twins?" croaked Draco. "Are you sure? Yes, of course you are. Twins. Twins? That's...astounding!"
Harry's heart was pounding for joy, and he couldn't keep from smiling ear to ear. He wanted to hug Luna and he wanted to wrap her in blankets and keep her safe. Harry's smile faded. "You should be on bed rest," he said. "Shouldn't she be on bed rest?" This last was directed at Neville.
"Luna is fine, mate," Neville said with a chuckle. "We'll need to monitor her more closely, especially as her pregnancy progresses, but she's hale and healthy, and so are the babies."
Harry looked at Luna, who smiled serenely back at him. "Luna this is..."
"Astounding?" she teased, a twinkle in her blue eyes.
Harry got up and walked around the table to kiss her cheek. "You're astounding."

Harry and Draco returned home to Malfoy Manor, the Lesser, giddy with excitement. Carolyn was back at Hogwarts, and Narcissa had come to stay with Ben and Jasmin. She met them in the parlor when they stepped out of the Floo.
"How is Luna faring?" she asked. Narcissa was as excited about the pregnancy as Harry and Draco were.
"Where are Ben and Jas?" asked Harry.
"Benjamin is reading his sister a book in the family room," Narcissa replied.
"Mum, why don't you sit down?" Draco suggested.
Narcissa's face fell and she slumped gracelessly onto the nearest chair. "Is...is something wrong? The baby..."
Draco knelt in front of her and took her hands in his. "Everything is fine, Mum," he said, "but we do have some rather..."
"Astounding," Harry interjected when Draco's voice trailed off.
Draco cut him a sharp look. "Some rather astounding news to share," he finished. "Luna is carrying twins."
"Twins?!" Narcissa chirped. "Why, that's..."
"Astounding."
"Shush, Harry."
"Oh my," breathed Narcissa. "This is fantastic news! You reckoned on one baby, and now you're having two?!"
"That reminds me of when we went to the orphanage to adopt one child and came home with three."
"Harry, shush," Draco chided. "Although it's also reminiscent of the time you went to adopt one cat and came home with a cat and a Kneazle."
Harry laughed and stroked Draco's silky hair. "It seems we can't do anything by ones, love."
Draco smiled up at him before standing and pulling a chair over to sit next to his mother. "We're still astonished that Luna is having twins."
"Your great-grandmother, Marie-Louise, had a twin sister," said Narcissa. "They weren't identical twins, I don't believe. The other girl passed at a young age, however."
"I don't think I knew that," mused Draco. "How sad."
Narcissa tapped a finger to her lips. "If I remember correctly, Luna's father had twin uncles. They may have been identical. You'd need to ask Xenophilius to be sure."
"So Luna having twins isn't completely out of the blue?" asked Harry.
"Not at all," said Narcissa. She stood and hugged first Harry and then Draco as he rose to his feet also. "I'm so happy for you both. Twins!"
Harry wrapped an arm around Draco's waist and quipped, "We're going to need a larger house."
