December has gotten off to a cold, wet start. Yuck.
This month's JMDC prompt is winter wonderland Use it however you wish--the phrase itself or the visual it evokes. Be creative! Feel free to write/draw any fandom, pairing, threesome, gen fic, original fic, etc. Combine it with other prompts, if you're able.
Please post your entry in your own journal (unlocked!) or a community of your choice, and leave me a link in the comments below. You have until December 31 at 10:00pm CST to submit an entry. At that time, I'll post links to the entries and draw a name from among the participants to receive a drabble from me.

"Christmas in Narnia."
Draco turned his head to look at Harry, who had Apparated to Hogsmeade to accompany Draco on his morning walk outside the village. "What did you say?"
"The school play at the orphanage," said Harry. "It's called Christmas in Narnia." He took a deep, bracing breath of the cold air, let it out, and smiled. The village was beautiful. More snow had fallen overnight, and it was truly a winter wonderland. Then Draco ruined it.
"It's Christmas in Northumbria, not Christmas in Narnia."
Harry hip checked his husband. “It's LeviOsa, not LevioSA!" he mocked.
Draco literally halted and peered closely at Harry. "Have you gone mad then?"
Harry chuckled and urged Draco into motion once more. "Inside Gryffindor joke," he said. "Ask Ron about it some time. Do not, however, under any circumstance, mention it to Hermione."
Draco opened his mouth, paused as if rethinking his life choices, then closed his mouth and shook his head. "Madness," he muttered.
They passed the gates leading into the village, waving to those who called out greetings. Harry was amused to see many shop windows graced by disgraceful pink trees. He wondered what other mayhem he could create in Hogsmeade.
"I need to find a new inflatable for your shop this year."
"No, you do not."
"Don't be such a ponker, Draco. It's tradition, like eggnog, Christmas concerts, silly holiday pants--"
"You do not need to get me absurd pants this year, either."
"...and sledding at the Burrow."
By now they had reached Draco's shop. They entered and stomped snow from their boots.
"Cold enough out there for you?" Josh teased from his cozy perch behind the counter.
Harry waved off the glib comment and approached. "Any new photos of Jonah?" he asked.
Ginny and Josh's baby boy, Jonah Patrick McCormick, had been born in the summer. Josh grinned and pulled out his mobile phone.
Harry admired the adorable baby pictures before giving Josh a speculative look. "Is he old enough for the bachelor auction, do you think?"
Josh nearly fumbled his phone. "Uh, maybe we can wait a few years?"
"I reckon you're right," Harry relented with an exaggerated sigh. "I'll have to look elsewhere to procure bachelors for the auction."
Draco returned to the front of the shop from where he'd stowed his outerwear in the back room. "Are you still here?"
"Come give me a kiss," said Harry, closing his eyes and making a production of puckering his lips.
"Ew."
Harry opened his eyes. "Which one of you said that?"
Draco and Joshua pointed at each other.
Harry crossed his arms and scowled. "Just for that, I should snog you both."
"Yuck," said Josh.
"Ew," said Draco.
Harry pointed at his husband. "A-ha!" Before Draco could react, Harry swooped forward and planted a hot, wet kiss on him. They were both breathless when it ended.
"Let's skive off for a shag," murmured Harry. "Josh will mind the shop."
"Yuck."
"Shush, Mr McWeasley."
Draco blinked and took a step back. "Run along, Harry. We'll, erm, revisit this discussion later. I have a business to run, and you need to retrieve our children from the Burrow."
"Okay, okay," Harry grumbled. He walked to the door and hesitated. "How about a snowball fight, Potter-Malfoy?"
"Get out."
Harry made a rude gesture at his husband even as he laughed and exited the shop. Mr Toadvine was across the street, clearing the pavement in front of his toy store with flicks of his wand.
"Do you need any help?" Harry asked him.
"I'm jest about done," Mr Toadvine replied. "I do have a favor to ask, though. Can ye get me one of them rainbow trees?"
Harry glanced back at Draco's shop, where the Rainbow Tree held court in the front window. "Erm, you do know what a rainbow symbolizes, yeah?"
"Course I do," said Mr Toadvine. "My great-nephew is, er, bent, and I want to support 'im."
"That's brilliant," Harry said, a smile wreathing his face. "Is he single, by chance?"
"He ain't married, if that's what yer askin'. You on the prowl for the bachelor auction again?"
"Yes, I am," replied Harry. "If you think of anyone, let me know."
