I blinked and looked at my brother. "What?"
Nik's eyes narrowed. "If you're so eager to die, by all means continue to ignore what I'm saying."
"You were lecturing," I grumbled. "My brain can withstand only so much before going offline."
He smacked me upside the head so fast I never saw him move.
"Is your brain functioning now?"
I scowled and rubbed my head. "I think you just gave me brain damage."
