"Lorcan!" Lily rushed to her boyfriend's side and helped him sit up.
"What happened?" he groaned, reaching up to rub his head.
Lily sighed in relief. "I have to go," she blurted. She stood and fled from the tower, losing her scarf in the process. Lily was still flushed and panting with exertion when she burst through the portrait hole.
Her cousin glanced up at her and drawled, "Dear Diary, this evening I was chased by werewolves through the Dark Forest."
"Shut it, Hugo," Lily snapped. She gathered the tatters of her dignity about her and stalked to her dormitory.
