"Ben, get that icicle out of your mouth," Harry scolded. "You don't know what else has been licking it."
"Yucky," said Jasmin, wrinkling her nose. She then headed for a partially-thawed puddle.
"No, Jasmin," said Harry. "You don't want to get your tutu wet." He heard Draco snort softly.
Their darling girl never went a day without wearing a tutu. It was all Luna's fault; she'd gifted Jasmin a tutu for her birthday, and Jas was so enchanted she refused to take it off. Harry and Draco had been forced to buy her an assortment of tutus to wear. Today's tutu was purple and sparkly. It vaguely matched the lovely lavender jumper she was wearing with the gray J on it.
The entire family was dressed in the Weasley jumpers that Molly had made for them the previous Christmas. The children's had needed to be re-sized to fit, but Draco had made short work of that task with a simple spell.
"Carolyn, where are you going?" asked Harry, seeing his eldest wandering away from the Potter-Malfoy herd. "Ash will be here soon to take our photo."
"I was going to let Chewy out, Dad," said Carolyn. "He looks so sad."
"He will run amok and ruin our family photo," Draco said. "You may let him out to play afterward."
A crack of Apparition signaled Ashton's arrival. He wasn't alone, however.
"Cousin Chesney, I wasn't expecting you," said Draco.
Harry elbowed his husband in the ribs. "They're attached at the hip now, you know."
Draco rolled his eyes and fought a grin. "Yes, Harry, your match-making skills are unmatched. No need to gloat."
"I believe some gloating is in order."
"Wanker."
Harry snickered and marshaled the troops. "Okay, minions, gather around so Ash can take our picture."
Jasmin's lower lip shot out. "I don't wanna."
"Would you like to take a nap instead?" Harry asked her.
"No. Yuck."
"It's a picture or a nap," said Harry. "Which one will be more fun?"
"A pitcher."
"Okay, come here and stand in front of me and Daddy." Harry waited until Jasmin was in place then slung an arm around Draco's waist. Carolyn stood next to him, with Ben beside Draco.
Harry leaned close to his husband and whispered, "Would you like your annual Christmas goose, love?"
"Try it and die, Potter-Malfoy," Draco said under his breath.
Ash was ready. "Smile, everyone!" He clicked a couple quick photos and looked at the display. "Oh, my. Miss Jasmin appears to be lacking the Christmas spirit."
"Jasmin!" cried Harry. "Weren't you smiling?"
"No."
"Are you cross because you're tired?" asked Harry. "If so, perhaps you really need a nap."
"I smile, Daddy."
"That's my girl," Harry smiled in return.
"Let's try it again," said Ash. This time as he raised his camera he sprouted cat ears and whiskers. Jasmin giggled, and Ash took two more rapid photos. "Ah, much better," he pronounced when he checked the display again.
Chesney peered over Ash's shoulder. "Very nice," he said. "Even Cousin Draco couldn't ruin it."
"How droll, Chesney."
"Gentlemen, take it outside," said Harry.
"We're already outside, Dad," Ben pointed out.
"Right," said Harry. "In that case, the two of you will need to cease bickering. Let me see the photos, Ash."
Harry admired his family, dressed in their Weasley finery. "I like this one the best," he said, indicating the one where Jasmin was grinning in delight. "What do you think, Draco?"
"That's my favorite, as well," Draco agreed.
"Brilliant," said Harry. "We'll use that one for our Boxing Day party invitations."
