Summary: Awkward awakenings
Harry woke to the sound of his son fussing. He was initially confused by his surroundings, having the expectation of waking in his own room. Harry lurched upright from the chair, groaning at the stiffness he felt from sleeping in an awkward position. He reached for AJ just as Malfoy woke up and did the same.
Their fingers brushed together, and they both froze, staring at one another. Malfoy broke the stalemate.
"What are you doing in my room?"
"I came to check on you and AJ," replied Harry, scooping up the baby. "I'll take care of him. You rest."
