After I uttered the flip comment of, 'I'd like to fall back on a bed with you,', Malfoy had chosen to retreat instead of engage. It was getting harder and harder to rile him. Malfoy had grown up and grown quite boring in the process.
I took a quick shower, dressed for the chilly Irish climate in a jumper, trousers, and wool socks, then jotted a short note for Rosie's birthday and dispatched it via owl to Ottery St Catchpole. See? I could do adult things, too. Shagging Malfoy was at the top of my very adult to do list.
