Potter stalked out of my room, slamming the door behind him harder than was necessary. I blew out a weary breath, not knowing how much longer I could keep up this performance. Acting like his flirtation didn't affect me was difficult. Nevertheless, it was important that we keep things between us platonic. We were partners; we weren't meant to become lovers.
Aside from that, Potter was fickle. He saw nothing wrong with playing the field. It never seemed to affect his reputation. If I were to have a casual fling, however, the Malfoy name would be smeared all over again.
