Harry and Draco left their minions at Malfoy Manor, where they were helping Grammeer Narcissa wrap gifts for their fathers. After admonishing the children to behave, Harry and Draco Apparated to Hogsmeade. Draco would be closing his shop early, but they wanted to have a small, holiday celebration with Joshua.
As they approached the door of Draco's potions shop, Draco paused to look at his holiday inflatables. "My dragon seems somewhat deflated."
"Don't you have a potion for that?"
Draco frowned. "A potion for...oh, that's very witty of you, Harry. Arse."
Harry was still chuckling when they walked inside. His grin widened at the first sight of Josh. "I see you're wearing your shagging reindeer jumper, Mr McWeasley. I approve."
"It's a travesty," Draco muttered, setting gifts down on the counter.
"I think it's tremendous," said Harry. "Why don't you wear that to the Burrow for Christmas?"
Josh's eyes widened. "Molly would kill me."
"Harry, please don't encourage him. Josh, you're fired."
"What?!"
Harry smacked Draco's arm with the back of his hand. "You can't sack him right before Christmas, you Scrooge."
"Very well," Draco relented. "Josh, remind me to sack you after the hols."
"Yeah, I'll, uh, just make a note of that on the calendar," said Joshua. "Before you guys got here, I went to Madam Puddifoot's and got us all some spiced hot chocolate."
"Spiced?" Harry was immediately intrigued. He accepted a cup from Josh and took a cautious sip. The chocolate was hot and rich, and the drink finished with a surprising note of spice. "This is brilliant."
Draco took a sip from his cup. "It's delicious," he said. "Josh, I believe I'll keep you on after all."
Joshua beamed at him and then turned his attention to Harry. "See? Bribery works just as well as blackmail."
"I keep trying to bribe Draco with naughty holiday pants, but--"
"Shut it, Harry."
Before Harry could respond, Madam Rosmerta burst inside. "I completely forgot to stock up on pepper-up potion," she said.
Draco set his mug of hot chocolate down and fetched some bottles of potion while Joshua rang up the sale at the till.
"Thank you," said Rosmerta. "Happy Christmas!"
Once she rushed out again, Draco apologized to Josh. "I didn't intend for this to be a working holiday."
"It's no problem," said Josh. "The boss is letting me leave early today."
"And on that note, let the Christmas party begin," Harry said. He handed Josh two festively wrapped gifts. "This one is from Draco and myself, and this one is from the minions."
The first was a portkey to the Swansea Cottage. "You may choose a weekend or even a full week to take Ginny there for some rest and relaxation," said Draco. The second gift was a pair of cozy socks, like the ones Ben and Carolyn had chosen for the family.
"These are awesome, thanks," said Josh. He pushed an elongated box across the counter.
Harry allowed Draco to open the present. It was a bottle of wine from the same vineyard as the one Josh had visited for Chesney.
"Thank you, Joshua," said Draco. "We can ring in the New Year with this."
"You'll be available to babysit for us on New Year's Eve, yeah?" asked Harry.
Josh's eyes widened. "What?"
"Ignore him, Josh," said Draco. "Mum will be keeping the children overnight while we celebrate at the Goyle residence."
"And in our bedroom later."
"Shush, Harry."
They shared a laugh, made small talk, and finished their spiced chocolate. Draco crossed to the door and turned the sign to Closed. "Thank you for the wine, Josh," he said. "We shall see you at the Burrow on Christmas day."
Josh returned the thanks, gathered his gifts, and used the Floo to exit.
Draco handed Harry the bottle of wine and said, "I reckon Mum has had plenty of time to wrap gifts with the children."
"Not so fast," said Harry. He set the wine on the counter and leered at his husband. "When was the last time we shagged in your shop?"
