Summary: Harry and Draco need to start sharing their plans.
"We'll need to tell the Headmistress first."
Harry opened his eyes to look up at Draco. They had returned to the castle after their picnic in the forest and were currently ensconced in Draco's quarters. Harry was reclining on the sofa in his fiance's sitting room, his head pillowed on Draco's thighs. There were other things he'd rather be doing than talking, such as celebrating their recent engagement. Again.
Harry opted to stick to the subject at hand. For now. He yawned and asked, "Shouldn't we tell your mum first?" If Narcissa Malfoy found out from anyone else that her son was engaged to be married, Harry doubted either of them would live long enough for the wedding to take place.
"Mum is in Wiltshire; Minerva is here at Hogwarts," said Draco, explaining his logic.
"Hm, you make an excellent point," mused Harry, yawning again. "I agree we should inform Minerva as soon as possible. You tell her."
"What?! Why should I be the one to tell her?" cried Draco. "You're her favorite."
Harry blinked up at him. "Are we talking about Minerva or your mum?"
Draco smacked Harry's stomach with the back of his hand. "Very funny, Harry," he groused. "You're fortunate that Mum tolerates you. Father would just as soon shove you down a flight of stairs."
Harry's shoulders tightened. "Perhaps I should retract my proposal."
"You'll do no such thing," said Draco. "You gave me a ring; we're as good as married. But first, we need to tell McGonagall. I'm not sure how well she'll take the news that two of her professors plan to get married."
"You aren't scared of her, are you?" taunted Harry.
"Yes, I am, and you are, too," said Draco. "Don't you dare try to deny it."
It was true, so Harry held his tongue. He sat up and rubbed his chin as he considered their options. "Whenever I have a dilemma to solve, I think about the letters WWHGD."
Draco frowned. "Sorry?"
"What Would Hermione Granger Do," explained Harry.
Draco glared at him. "If Harry Potter would like to get laid again in the next month, he'd better come up with a better plan than that."
