Summary: Draco has all the qualities Harry is looking for in a man.
"Ethel can be quite acerbic," Malfoy mused. "When I tried to introduce some special mugs during the hols, she told me they looked like something painted by a drunk elf."
Harry laughed in delight. "I will make it a point not to cross Ethel again, if I can help it," he said. He leaned forward over the small table and held Malfoy's gaze. "Are you certain I can't convince you to indulge in a bit of bed sport?"
"It's a tempting offer, Potter, but I must decline."
Harry backed off. He'd asked and been told no, and there was no sense in pushing. "I've had a good time this evening," he said. "Do you know where we might get a cup of coffee we can linger over?"
Malfoy chuckled, even as he rolled his eyes. "I reckon I can make us some coffee. Or, would you prefer tea?"
"Coffee will be fine," Harry replied. "Do you need any help?"
"I believe I can manage," said Malfoy, rising from his chair and collecting their dishes. He went behind the counter and returned a few moments later with two steaming cups of coffee. He set one in front of Harry and then sat back down.
Harry looked at Malfoy and smiled. "Mm, hot."
"You haven't even taken a sip yet."
"I wasn't referring to the coffee."
Malfoy pulled a face. "I thought we agreed, no sex tonight."
"I didn't exactly agree," countered Harry. "I simply chose not to argue. I hope that if I mind my manners this evening, I'll get another chance to convince you."
Malfoy set his cup down and stirred some cream into it. "Is that all you're after then?"
"Of course not," Harry assured him. "I'm not exactly lacking in potential partners. It's you I'm interested in."
"Why?" asked Malfoy, appearing genuinely puzzled.
Harry lowered his voice to a conspiratorial level, in spite of the fact that they were alone in Dragon Brew. "Not many people know this," he said, "but I've been searching my whole life for a bloke who's charming, witty, handsome, and who can make an excellent cup of coffee."
Malfoy laughed in startled surprise. "Potter, you are barking mad."
