"Why don't you just talk to Malfoy?" Hermione asked as she pushed a basket of scones towards Harry.
He shifted his attention to her and picked up a scone. "I don't want to talk to him. I want to punch him in the face."
Hermione's eyebrows disappeared into her fringe. "Whatever you say."
"What is that supposed to mean?" Harry demanded hotly.
"Yeah, what's that mean?" Ron asked around a mouthful of peas.
"It's like pulling pigtails," said Hermione. "If hitting Malfoy doesn't satisfy you, try snogging him instead. Trial and error, Harry. If one thing doesn't work, try another."
