Rose blushed prettily, leaving Scorpius to wonder if he would be so lucky as to pluck this particular ginger blossom right here in someone's private garden. Alas, it was not to be.
A shaggy, silvery dog stepped through the bushes and sat at Rose's feet. "Rose, where are you?" it spoke in her brother's voice. "James and I are worried about you."
Scorpius held back a groan at the untimely interruption.
Rose looked at him and bit her lip before saying, "I should go. I'd never hear the end of it if Hugo and Jamie were to find us together."
