Summary: The coffee is hot, and the flirting is hotter at Dragon Brew.

Harry's famous bravery deserted him after he'd snogged Malfoy at Dragon Brew, and it was two days before he plucked up the courage to go back. He only hoped Malfoy wouldn't hex him as soon as he stepped through the door.

Once Harry arrived at Dragon Brew, however, Malfoy and another barista were too busy behind the counter to pay him any attention. Harry used his wait time to peruse the merchandise for sale. There were two I ♥ Harry Potter aprons still available, along with the ubiquitous mugs, cups, and coasters. There was a new display set up, touting a particular "Tea for All Seasons". The display included seasonal decorations, such as flowers, pumpkins, and sparkling snowflakes.

Harry's stomach grumbled, and he checked the time. There was no reason he couldn't get a cuppa and something to eat. He'd be able to make it to the Ministry for his shift. When it was Harry's turn at the counter, Malfoy greeted him with an affable smile.

"Good morning, Auror Potter. Another Long Black?"

Harry had hoped for more of a reaction from him, but at least Malfoy hadn't hit him with a Stinging hex. "Actually, I think I'd like to try that all-season tea, along with a scone."

Malfoy nodded. "Caffeine and sugar, the two basic food groups. Have a seat, Potter, and someone will bring it out to you."

"Why don't you join me?" Harry invited on impulse. "I'll treat." He all but held his breath as he awaited an answer.

Malfoy blinked, but then he smiled and said, "Sure. Why not? I can take a short break."

Harry smiled back and handed over some money. "That should cover it. Drop any change in Luna's donation jar." He turned and headed for the table he thought of as his and Malfoy's, only to see a young bloke headed that way. Harry cleared his throat and glared, and the youth found somewhere else to sit. Harry claimed his table, refusing to feel guilty for winning it through intimidation.

Malfoy joined him a few minutes later, levitating a tray in front of him. He set a plated scone in front of Harry, another across from him, then cups at each place, along with the requisite sugar, milk, and honey. He sat down and said, "Tell me what you think of the tea. It's something new I imported only recently."

Harry took a thoughtful sip and nodded slowly. "It's good," he said, before taking another sip. "Neither too mild, nor too spicy. I can see why it could be a tea that you would serve any season."

"Thank you for your input, Potter. Perhaps I'll call it Pot-tea in your honor."

Harry paused with his scone halfway to his mouth. "Pardon?"

Malfoy laughed. "Oh, Potty, you're so easy to rile." His eyes were sparkling at Harry over the rim of his tea cup, and Harry found it impossible to be angry at him.

"Prat," he muttered instead. He bit into his scone. "This is wonderful," he said. "I seldom have time for breakfast."

"I agree," said Malfoy. "I don't have time to sit down to a plate of eggs and toast points, or a bowl of porridge. Make all food finger food, is my motto when it comes to breakfast."

Harry's mind summoned an image of him feeding Malfoy bites of finger food, and he took a quick gulp of tea to hide his flushed face.

"Are you keeping busy at the DMLE?" asked Malfoy. "Or, shall I conduct a one-man crime spree tonight to give you something worth investigating?"

"We are busy enough without you having to resort to criminal activity," Harry replied in an exasperated tone. "I had hoped that running Dragon Brew was sufficient to keep your illegal impulses under control."

Malfoy laughed, drawing the eyes of several patrons. "I do believe I've put my criminal past behind me, Auror Potter."

They shared a chuckle and some further small talk. All too soon, Harry's scone and tea were gone, and it was time for him to go to work. "Malfoy, it's been a pleasure. Thank you for joining me."

"The pleasure was mine, Potter. Would you like one for the road?"

Harry was confused. "A Long Black?"

"No, a kiss."

Before Harry could respond, Malfoy leaned over the table and pressed their lips together. It began soft and tentative, then quickly grew bold and heated. Malfoy sat back, face flushed and lips slightly swollen. Harry suspected he looked the same.

Malfoy cleared his throat. "How about a Long...hot...Black?"

"Wh-huh?"

"A Long Black, Potter. Your favorite. It's on the house," said Malfoy.

Harry gathered his scattered wits and narrowed his eyes. "I'd rather have it on a bed," he growled softly.

Malfoy laughed and stood up. "Perhaps another time, Auror."
